As we approach a very busy season of holidays and events, I encourage you to continue to look for opportunities to authentically and meaningfully integrate technology into your instruction. We had such an amazing time at AzTEA's Fall Conference !
It was so nice to connect face-to-face and learn alongside you! Thank you to the AzTEA Board and Planning Committee for putting on such an amazing event. Also, thank you to all of the amazing educators that dedicated their Saturday to learning, growing, and creating community with one another.

Join ADE & The Arizona Science Center for a CS Fundamentals Workshop!
Code.org's CS Fundamentals is designed to be fun and engaging. Come learn how to blend online and "unplugged" non-computer activities to teach students computational thinking, problem solving, programming concepts, and digital citizenship!

Introduction to CS with Makey Makey & Scratch

Banana pianos are fun, but customized inventions are even better! In this webinar, you will learn how to challenge students to code custom Scratch projects for their Makey Makey invention kits. Use Scratch to create and code sprites, learn coding tools to make custom animations, and use logic to make games smart!
The Office of Governor Doug Ducey has provided access to the supplemental program, Learning Blade, and their accompanying professional development opportunities to teachers around the state. This support is provided 100% free of charge!

Your FREE Discovery Education Account is here!
We’re excited to share a new statewide partnership between the Arizona Department of Education and Discovery Education to provide educators and students with the tools and resources they need to stay connected to learning in-person, online, or in hybrid learning environments.
All Arizona educators and students will receive access to the award-winning Discovery Education Experience at no cost for this school year, as costs will be covered by federal recovery dollars.
